MULTI TENANCY DEVELOPMENT – LONSDALE

BRIEF

Woolcock Group were asked to produce a feasibility study on a 7.5m high warehouse to accommodate four separate office/warehouse facilities and then to design and construct with a competitive build cost.

CONCEPT

The innovative design incorporated street presence to all four tenancies with 280m2 lettable area each and easy access around the entire development.

CHALLENGE

To maximise the build area on a sloping block.

OUTCOME

Maximum build area was achieved by designing a precast concrete boundary wall that was able to also perform as a 3m high retaining wall enabling the construction of the warehouses directly on the boundary.
