BRIEF
Woolcock Group was requested to design & construct a new 2 storey office, factory and warehouse to replace the existing facilities & combine the office and warehouse in one building.
CONCEPT
The front façade features a combination of precast concrete architectural panels, Kingspan and full height windows, thus maximising the office space and allowing a large amount of natural lighting to enter the building. The large warehouse & factory propose a clear height of greater than 6m to allow for high level storage and the use of a gantry crane.
CHALLENGE
To construct the building while maintaining a functioning site. A staged progress was planned to shift manufacturing areas to minimise interruptions to the operations.
