The Hills Cider Company aims to produce Australia’s best ciders and required a purpose-built Cellar Door for patrons to visit and enjoy the produce made from the Adelaide Hills fruit growing region.
This project involved construction of a new Cellar Door - now known as Lot.100 - including landscaping, two-way fireplace, commercial kitchen, and deluxe amenities including a bridal changeroom.
Woolcock Construction was successful in winning this project due to our ability to provide cost-effective alternatives whilst maintaining the client’s architectural standards and timeline. By agreeing on selection changes and re-engineering components without diminishing functionality or quality standards, the final cost was reduced by over 30% from the client’s original quote.
Woolcock Construction won a Master Builders SA Building Excellence Award for this project in the category Excellence in a Commercial/Industrial Building up to $2million. This award shows Woolcock Construction’s commitment to excellence in our projects. Lot.100 is now fully operational as a popular function and visitor centre in the Adelaide Hills.
